Education
An Arkansas transplant, Ms. Strunk earned her BS in Human Biology from the University of Indianapolis in 1996, and continued there for her MS in Physical Therapy in 1998.
Teaching Experience
Ms. Strunk has lectured in the Graduate Program in Exercise Physiology at IU Bloomington, and in the DPT program at the University of Minnesota. She also held a clinical faculty appointment in the College of St. Catherine's DPT program in Minneapolis. She was appointed as the Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Physical Therapy at IU in 2007.
Her teaching responsibilities include Legal and Ethical Issues in Physical Therapy and Administration and Management of Physical Therapy Services.
Clinical Interests
Ms. Strunk's clinical experience has focused on adult acute care and neurological rehabilitation across the life span, and her expertise is with demyelinating diseases. She is also interested in patient health literacy issues and clinical education.
Outside Interests
Ms. Strunk enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter, as well as with her extended family in Arkansas. She is an avid photographer and enjoys spending time in creative pursuits such as beading, quilting, sewing, and photojournalism.
