Welcome to the Department of Occupational Therapy!

On behalf of the faculty of the Department of Occupational Therapy, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about our entry-level Master of Science Program in Occupational Therapy, show you our new instructional space, and introduce our nationally and internationally recognized faculty.

Indiana University's Occupational Therapy Program offers the best of new and old. Established in 1958, the IU program is the longest continually accredited Occupational Therapy program in Indiana. Our history of graduating talented practitioners makes us well known in the Occupational Therapy community locally, regionally, and nationally.

Our state-of-the-art laboratory space and classrooms in historic Coleman Hall are conveniently located near downtown Indianapolis and the Indiana University Medical Center. We are part of the School of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences on the campus of Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis. The School of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences is also home to the Indiana Center for Rehabilitation Science & Engineering Research.

Our faculty, staff and support personnel are dedicated to providing a quality education to help students fulfill their professional career goals.
