The School of Health Technology at the Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT) held a cocktail function to celebrate the contributions of Prof Joyce MacKinnon (associate dean of the School of Health And Rehabilitation Sciences, IUPUI, USA) as external consultant to the NRF funded project on implementing an assessment model in the School of Health Technology since 2005. In addition, MacKinnon was also involved in the textbook on postgraduate supervision with the title “An introduction to postgraduate supervision” with Prof. Laetus Lategan as editor.
October 9, 2009 —
Recently Dean Agho was invited to visit Dr. Judith Ernst while she was at Moi University, Kenya working on the Global Livestock-CRSP HIV Nutrition Project (HNP). While there, Dr. Agho was given a tour of the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital and explored ways to expand the already existing partnership between Moi University and Indiana University. The School of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences has been asked for assistance to establish Bachelor of Science degree programs in Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.
September 11, 2009 — The Department of Occupational Therapy at Indiana University on the IUPUI campus invites applications for a 10-month Clinical Track faculty position.
