The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences was well represented at the first IUPUI Research Day on April 24, 2009.
Three students presented posters:

  • Holder, Bethany: Outlooks and Opinions of Practicing Physical Therapists on Direct Access in Indiana: A Pilot study
  • Klene, Frank, Gundeck, Evelina and Hassett, Sean: An Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization Approach for the Treatment of Hip Pain: A Case Study
  • Whitaker, Amanda and Edwards, Leann: Community Perceptions of Service Learning within a Doctorate of Physical Therapy

Three faculty presented research projects:

  • Warden, Stuart: Exercise During Growth Builds Bigger (and Stronger) Bones for a Lifetime
  • Scott, Patricia: Measurement of Participation Following Serious Medical Events: An Illustration Post-Liver Transplantation
  • Mac Kinnon, Joyce: Health Related Quality of Life Outcomes Research on Vietnam Veterans with Combat related Amputations
